Make sure you are comparing the same holiday
Two Europe package quotes can look similar while covering different nights, hotel areas or services. Start by writing down the route, traveller count and departure journey you asked for. Use Paris, Rome and Amsterdam to check the overnight sequence rather than relying on a destination name. A cheaper quote is useful only when you know what it includes and what you still need to arrange.
Compare the route and nights first
| Route | Trip length | Stay bases |
|---|---|---|
| Paris | 4 days / 3 nights | 1 |
| Paris → Rome | 6 days / 5 nights | 2 |
| Paris → Rome → Amsterdam | 8 days / 7 nights | 3 |
Check the actual first and last hotel nights, the number of bases and the method of travelling between them. The proposed Europe route cards provide a useful reference, but a quotation should state any changes explicitly. Confirm whether your journey from India sits inside or outside the published day count.
Use this side-by-side checklist
- Hotel names, locations, room categories and meal plans for each night.
- Flights or other departure travel, including baggage and connection conditions.
- Every route transfer, with pickup and drop-off arrangements.
- Sightseeing tickets and guide services, distinguishing included and optional items.
- Currency, applicable taxes, traveller-sharing assumptions and the quote’s validity.
- Payment dates, cancellation schedules and treatment of supplier changes.
For Paris, Rome and Amsterdam, make a separate row in your comparison wherever the quote includes a stay. Missing information should remain a question, rather than being interpreted as an inclusion. Ask each provider to resolve those gaps in writing before you compare the final total.
Keep one agreed version before booking
Once you choose a plan, ask for the final itinerary and quote to agree on dates, nights and services. Keep optional extras separate, check any substitutions and review the linked travel policies. The planner should be able to explain the practical effect of removing a base, changing a hotel or altering the departure journey.
Glider's planning pages show possible routes and estimates. They do not confirm live availability or a booking. Send the selected Europe route with your departure city, dates, traveller count and priorities so the team can prepare the written version you will actually use. Avoid paying against a headline package description when the itinerary or terms are still unresolved.
Planning basis: the linked Glider route catalogue. Routes are proposals; hotels, transport, access, prices and availability are confirmed in your written quote. This guide does not claim a first-hand visit or live supplier availability.
