Choosing where to stay in Spiti starts with what you want to do. The proposed bases Kaza, Tabo and Langza organise the route ideas, but the exact property location still matters. Compare where your days begin and end, how you reach the main stop and how often you will pack and check out. A star category alone does not answer those questions.

Use one base to limit check-in and checkout changes, two to split the holiday between different parts of the proposed route, or three when your available time supports the extra movement. Ask the room questions before paying
- Exact hotel name and location, rather than only a destination label.
- Room category, bed arrangement and sharing basis for the quoted price.
- Breakfast or other meals explicitly included.
- Arrival check-in, departure checkout and any extra-night charges.
- Cancellation conditions for each property and whether substitutions require your agreement.
